Module 3: Solar System Design and Sizing
- Understanding energy demand and load assessment.
- Design principles for off-grid, on-grid, and hybrid systems.
- System sizing: Determining capacity, battery storage, and inverter ratings.
- Software tools for solar design (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope).
- Safety considerations in system design.

☀️ About the Solar Energy Skill Development Programme
One of the flagship initiatives, the Solar Technician training program, was launched in 2015 to develop a skilled workforce for the growing solar sector. By December 2022, over 51,000 individuals had successfully completed the training.
The programme equips participants with the essential skills needed for installation, maintenance, and operational roles in solar energy systems.
